These are a few of our favorite things!

Jessie Cozzens| 13 Oct, 2018

Hello, friends! When thinking of what we wanted to have this blog post be on, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite things, "Kids Edition". Lol. Some things that I couldn't live without for babies and other things for my older girls as well. I love finding great products and even more than that, I love when I recommend something to someone and they end up loving it as much as me! And with Christmas coming up so fast, I hope this might give you a few ideas that are affordable and already tried and true. Here are some of my must-haves with links to where you can find them. 🙂

In this post we'll talk about:

Kid's Hair Care

Quiet Time Activities

Kid's Bath Essentials

Kid's Comfy Clothes

So get ready!

Kid's Hair Care

First up, hair! I have discovered the best detangler ever. Use that with a Wet Brush, and your sensitive-head kiddos will thank you. Trust me! A little goes a long way and it smells like Heaven!!

Original Sprout Miracle Detangler

Wet Brush

Quiet Time Activities

Moving on to my favorite quiet time gadget. (If that's really a thing with kids. Haha) Whether it be church, traveling, or anywhere you need your kids to simmer down a little, this is the thing for you! My girls love these and there is no mess, which is always a win for me!

Boogie Boards

Kid's Bath Essentials

Bath time... Sometimes my kids love baths, and sometimes it's like bathing a wild monkey. But what I finally discovered, is that my girls love getting in the tub when it's made fun! I love Crayola's bath goodies! And of course, bath bombs are fascinating to kids! A lot of stores and companies make kid focused ones and they make bath time so fun! Plus, some even have a little surprise once it's dissolved like this unicorn one pictured. Our favorite thing Crayola makes are the Color Bath Dropz. I'll link you to all of the bath goods below. And they are so cheap, which is always welcome!

We have a few staples in our house. Aussie bites from Costco, mango juice, coffee and creamer (for me) and lice repellent spray. We dealt with 3 out of 4 kids getting is last year so now we take extra precautions. If we win we would like the unicorn pj’s in a 5/6 please. 😊

I have two daughters with long hair so a staple in our house is detangler and leave in conditioner! I love all of your suggestions!!

Those pjs are so cute! We would love to win these in a 7/8. I’d say our staple at home is coffee! That’s how we survive here. A cup every morning and with the harsh winter months we have, a hot cup of coffee always comes in handy.

    Good luck everyone!

Loved this post! We’ve been eyeing those jammies for a while for my 6 year old who wears a size small or 6! Stainless steel water bottles are a staple in our house. We take them everywhere and they keep drinks cold forever!

We love the wet brush! That’s one of go to’s along with the little scented nail polish. 😉. Size 7/8.

A staple item we have in our house is coconut oil. We use it to cook with as well as condition our skin and hair. I have used it on rashes for my kids and deep conditioned my hair with it and have had wonderful success. I even put a little in the kids bubble bath for extra moisture during the winter months. Absolutely love it!!!

Oh those unicorn jammies are so cute! Size 4T! A staple item we keep in our home is the Melissa & Doug mop & broom. She loves to be our little helper! Win-win!

Hi guys! A staple item we use in our house is lavender essential oil! We just recently came to getting into oils and it does wonders in our house! I’ve got two little ones (ages 5 & 2) so we still have some rough nights around here LOL so I’ve made it a daily thing to put lavender oil in their bath at night and then also apply a diluted lavender oil on their little feet. It makes for a much smoother and peaceful night! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone that might need some nighttime help with their little ones!

Our (my daughters size lol) is the 5-6 :)

Thanks for the opportunity to share with others, my “go to” in our house!

    Good luck everyone!!!
